Nestled within the misty forest, Hootie in the Forest Nursery Collection offers a calming oasis for little ones. Created in earthy tones, using only the finest materials, this curation is comprised of Driftwood linen and Hootie fabric. Featuring a Katie Morrison Woodland Tribe design, this soft and luxurious bedding is perfect to soothe little ones into slumber. Complementing the natural beauty of Snow White linen, Autumn Leaves and Soft Teal, this curation offers a calming neutral backdrop for your little one’s dreams. This curation comprises 14 consciously created pieces as follows -
 
Cot Quilt
Designed with one side featuring Hootie and the other side Driftwood. Within the double-sided quilt is a layer of unbleached cotton wadding secured onto the Hootie fabric with hand embroidery outlining each tepee. Bordering the quilt is exquisite Soft Teal piping, highlighting the colours of our little adventurer Hootie, and his tepee. This quilt is suitable for a bassinet or Moses basket – simply turn the quilt sideways and tuck under the mattress. The quilt can also be used as a playmat.
 
Bed Linen -
 
Pillowcase
Created in Autumn Leaves with our signature hand embroidery down the left side using 3 strands of embroidery floss. Perfectly complementing the Top Sheet/Wrap and Fitted Sheet. Designed to use with the included Baby Pillow Insert (also fits our Toddler Pillow Insert which can double as a cushion - available as an extra).
 
Flat Sheet/Wrap
Created in Autumn Leaves, and exquisitely bordered with our signature hand embroidery using 3 strands of embroidery floss. This sheet is soft and light, perfect for warm summer days and nights or for layering during the cooler months. It is also sized for and makes a luxurious baby wrap.
 
Fitted Sheet
Designed in crisp Snow White linen, this gorgeous sheet is finished with high-quality French seam stitching that provides excellent durability. Elastic is encased within a frilled hem around the entire sheet ensuring a snug fit.
 
Bubble Blanket
Created in fresh white linen/cotton textural bubble check fabric, and beautifully edged with Hootie binding. This lightweight blanket can be used on its own during warm summer days or nights or as an additional layer during the cooler months. It is also sized for and makes a luxurious baby wrap. 
 
Petite Cushions - 
 
Cushion with Flange
Designed to be a delightful addition, this lined, double-sided cushion displays both the feature fabric and Driftwood linen. Perfect to team with the Hootie side of the quilt, one side features Hootie bordered with a 1½" Autumn Leaves flange. Turn it around and embrace the minimalist look by teaming with the Driftwood side of the quilt.
 
Breakfast Cushion
Designed to be the star of the show, this double-sided cushion displays both the feature fabric and a gorgeous Moon Minky. One side features Hootie on the top half and Soft Teal on the bottom. Between the prints, along the width of the cushion, Moon Minky piping highlights the colours of the woodland trees in the feature fabric. The other side of the cushion, adding to the option of a minimalist look, is the delightful Moon Minky.
 
Both cushions are stuffed with cloud-like clusters of premium fill, making them incredibly light and delightfully squishy.
 
Accessories -
 
Fringed Throw Blanket
Created in the Soft Teal and finished with an exquisite white 2" cotton brush fringe on each end. This throw truly is a special addition to the nursery.
 
Garland Bunting
Comprising of 9 large flags and is designed in a combination of prints, including 2 x Soft Teal, 3 x Hootie, 2 x Snow White linen, 1 x Driftwood linen, and 1 x Autumn Leaves. Flags are attached along a length of Soft Teal and each flag is lined with cream cambric cotton.
 
Change Mat Cover
Designed in Autumn Leaves fabric. Tailor-made to fit the Universal Change Pads available in most stores. Depth allowance can be altered if required before shipping. Initial fitting instructions will be provided.
 
Nung-Nung
Named after my daughter’s little cuddly, this Nung-Nung has been created in Snow White linen, and exquisitely bordered with our signature hand embroidery using 3 strands of embroidery floss. Perfectly knotted in one of the corners for little hands to grasp.
 
Organiser
Designed in Driftwood linen featuring pockets in Hootie fabric. The top row has 3 pockets for the smaller things. The bottom row, created to allow for extra depth, has 2 pockets for the larger things. Ties allow the organiser to be attached to the cot/crib, change table or a hanging rod for the wall (not included). White duck canvas lines the organiser and pockets.
 
Baby Pillow Insert
Created with 4 layers of unbleached cotton wadding sandwiched between high-quality cambric cotton and finished with cream stitching, keeping the wadding secure. This insert is perfect for cushioning a little head.
 
Storage Bag
This collection is presented in a cotton, natural seeded drawstring storage bag. It has a themed pocket in which to keep the hang/care tag that outlines our contact information and fabric care details for future reference. Use this bag to protect your collection when storing or use for any other suitable purpose.
 
Matching fabric remnants and sample threads are also included along with a little bandana for a doll or teddy.
